I’ve always believed that the best way to learn and truly immerse yourself into a new technology is to build it, break it, and build it again…then repeat steps 2 and 3 until you can do it in your sleep. Although this doesn’t apply to all technologies, it certainly holds true for most of VMware’s portfolio. I've had a couple of internal conversations and read through the Certification pages for this, but please don't take what I'm saying as an official VMware response.
The way it's been explained to me, VCP-Cloud will be the only certification title going forward, VCP-IaaS will be the exam that VCP5 holders can take to achieve VCP-Cloud Delete the scoop?

For clarity’s sake, the IaaS exam is used by current VCP5s to obtain the VCP-Cloud without having to attend another class or get tested on things already tested on the VCP5 exam. It’s a “bridge” exam if you will...
