Concern that one of the most commonly consumed food colorings may cause cancer has led to changes in soft drink formulation in California.
Skip Stein's insight:

12/1/2013 Update: Our YouTube account was terminated because our videos were flagged as “inappropriate” by unknown parties. Hopefully our account will soon be reinstated. In the meantime we have at least this past week’s videos switched to another provider as well as Uprooting the Leading Causes of Death and More Than an Apple a Day. There are 750+ videos that are still down but we’re slowly but surely working around the clock to get them back up. Thank you for everyone’s kind support.

The Lie Obscured Something Monstrous

The Lie Obscured Something Monstrous | Freedom and Politics | Scoop.it
You might not be able to keep your plan and you might not be able to keep your doctor. Even President Obama has now apologized for his infamous statement to the contrary. But the promise was worse than untrue.
Skip Stein's insight:

"There is a better way. Targeted reforms would make insurance accessible to the uninsured without uninsuring the insured. The lie having been exposed, it’s time for Congress to close this sad chapter and move forward with real, positive, health care reform."

A New Worry Looms Online For The Affordable Care Act

A New Worry Looms Online For The Affordable Care Act | Freedom and Politics | Scoop.it
HealthCare.gov is supposed to be mostly fixed, but error-riddled forms may yet impair the rollout.
Skip Stein's insight:

For many of you the 834 EDI transaction may be very foreign but it is the backbone of electronic healthcare enrolment; ever since  HIPAA went into effect in 2000.  EDI or Electronic Data Interchange is the 'electronic form' or version of what might have been a paper document and like many other EDI transactions they are MANDATED by the HIPAA law as the only legal means of electronic data transport (the only other legal way is via paper documents).  There are other EDI transactions for claims and changes and payments and most of these can be expected to have serious 'glitches' as well.  As someone who has been doing EDI for about 35 years, this will be a real rat's nest.  If they can't figure out how to create/transmit a fairly simple enrolment form, just wait until they get to the claim transactions - those were designed by government committee and make the 834 enrolment look simple.

Almost 80 million with employer health care plans could have coverage canceled, experts predict

Almost 80 million with employer health care plans could have coverage canceled, experts predict | Freedom and Politics | Scoop.it
The president may be doing a lot more apologizing in the coming months because almost 80 million policies from small and large employers are being cancelled along with those individual policies in order to make them compliant with the requirements...
Skip Stein's insight:

This is why Obama has pushed back the employer mandate for Obamacare past the 2014 elections.  Democrats are scared shitless about the elections with the horrendous consequences of this lousy legislation called ACA/Obamacare.  Don't be fooled by the continuous lies out of this administration and the Democrats.  Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on American Voters.

Obama LIED, the democrats all voted to pass the ACA without reading the damn thing.  This is totally irresponsible.  There are SO many ridiculous rules on the books; no wonder if the idiots in Congress don't read what they are voting for!?!  This is an abrogation of their Sworn Oath of Office and they should be impeached; at least remember this crap in November 2014 when a lot of these bozos come up for re-election!

Finally maybe someone is going to consider prosecuting these thieves.  If you or I decided to shoplift from WalMart or any other store, we would sent to the slammer.  Because these criminals used government cards and are on welfare, they are above the law?

Unbelievable that WalMart isn't aiding in the investigation.  Guess who is paying for the losses of all that theft?  YOU ARE.  Don't be a dummy, use this as a good reason to avoid WalMart and their idiotic policies and disrespect for the law!
