Human trafficking is a complicated root system connecting all countries in an underground slave-trading network. If we cut down the weed in one location, another will pop up elsewhere. The human trafficking network is powerful—seemingly invincible. But with cooperation and determination, we can abolish the hidden slave trade, one freed “flower” at a time. A source of inspiration is William Wilberforce, the great abolitionist of the black slave trade who resolutely fought and changed the world.
