The PLOS BLOGS Network is made up of two types of blogs, the five staff-written and edited "community blogs," listed in the next column, and the PLOS hosted network of independent blogs, listed below them. Independent blogs are written and managed by scientists and science journalists external to the PLOS organization.
Their posts are not pre-screened or edited by PLOS; as such any views presented are solely those of their authors, and do not necessarily represent views of PLOS.
The PLOS BLOGS Network was created to present diverse perspectives on science and medicine, and to encourage discussion on issues in the communication of science, including Open Access to the scientific literature. Unless otherwise noted, all posts on PLOS BLOGS Network are licensed CCBY, making them available for reuse by anyone with appropriate attribution.
