Absolutely Katie! For both learners and teachers that ownership is important. As someone who has 2 (my personal iPad and my teaching iPad) I'd also recommend that one has the most important/used apps on both (it has happened to me to be missing an important app on my teaching iPad once! Quickly corrected :-)

As I always trying to make my presentation more remarkable than before, I think it is good tips for me and us. These are really nice to learn for your future presentation especially for those of who have presentation for this semester.
So if you are interested in making your presentation look fancy and effective, it will be worthy to see all the slides!

The site hosts presentations in more than 20 languages from events in a huge number of cities all around the world. PechaKucha is a fantastic activity for students who need to practice their speaking skills. Why not organize a PechaKucha event in your school?

I see many benefits in this process of documenting the learning and not just in Mathematics. In this new era of collaborative teaching, it’s a great way of recording a lesson for other members of the team to view.As a Maths leader/mentor, it’s a useful way of modelling a lesson for teams to discuss.For students, it gives them access to previous learning that they can revisit at different times of the year to review/revise and support their learningFor assessment purposes, it can provide a record of the different stages of learning that took place during a lesson or series of lessons.the use of Padlet itself opens up personalised access for students to work at their own pace ( not evident in this lesson as it was more of a guided lesson rather than an independent task) Via Mark Gleeson

Group brainstorming application GroupMap lets students and teachers work collaboratively on producing ideas, plans, reflections, revision and exam preparation, case studies, projects etc. Free account allows to involve 5 participants and create 25 public maps.There are also different paid accounts. Watch the tutorial http://www.groupmap.com/tour/ about how to use this tool. At present GroupMap requires Google Chrome or Safari browsers on your PC, or Safari on your iPad.

Students in successful classrooms not only understand what they are learning, but why they are learning it and how it connects to the world beyond the classroom. Whether it is designing all the components to make a house in a high school maths/technology class or reading a home reader in primary school, students are able to connect with the what, how and why of learning.
We need more innovation for engagement!
