Abella de la Conca, a village in Catalonia, Spain has been given a chance to live again thanks to a local non-profit organisation called 'Abella Climb.' The aim of this enterprise is to foster a sustainable approach towards outdoor activities in the area. The hope is that more climbers and other outdoor sport enthusiasts will continue to visit Abella, bringing money and life into the local economy. To this end, Foto Vertical present this video portrait of the village complete with beautiful moments of local life as well as incredible climbing on the amazing archway for which the region is rightly famous. Including appearances from professional climbers Caroline Ciavaldini , Enzo Oddo and James Pearson who speak very highly, not just of the region's climbing, but of its atmosphere and people too.
