You can create 3D from your own images or photos from the internet. Then you will see 3D objects with special color glasses on your screen. You will get 3Dnator icon on the toolbar after the installation. Click it to convert images to 3D. You can either click this icon or right click on any image to convert the image in to 3D. Sculptris est un logiciel gratuit qui permet de créer et modeler des objets en 3D avec facilité. Lancé par l’éditeur Pixologic, le logiciel Sculptris propose des manipulations en temps réel avec une prise en main simplifiée. Que ce soit à la souris ou via une tablette graphique, le modelage informatique se veut aisé. L’importation de formes au format .obj est possible tout comme l’application de textures (sous la forme de fichiers au format .png). La composition s’effectue en ajoutant des objets sphériques modelés à volonté (étirer, creuser, aplatir, lisser…) comme une pâte à modeler. Sculptris fonctionne sans installation (avec un poids inférieur à 5 Mo) sur PC ou Macintosh. Il est adapté pour une initiation à la 3D en EPN (espace public numérique). Il y a quelques jours j’annonçais ma nouvelle passion pour Googlesketchup, le logiciel de création d’objets d’architecture 3D. C’est bien joli de créer des modèles d’objets en 3D, mais comment donc intégrer des objets 3D dans un site ou un blogue? Aujourd’hui quand on achète un produit en ligne, la plupart du temps, on se contente d’une ou plusieurs photos, mais très peu de présentations 3D sont disponibles, ce qui est fort dommage. Heureusement il y a des solutions sur internet et en plus certaines sont gratuites comme celle que je viens de découvrir sur bevelity.com. Delete the scoop?

3DTin is a free web-based program for creating three dimensional models. 3DTin provides templates that you can use to develop models or you can build a model completely from scratch. The service is completely free to use as long as you allow your models to be labeled with a Creative Commons license and put in the 3DTin gallery.
