One thing, that I’ve always loved to do though is to put all these amazing articles and videos together on a dedicated site for everyone to browse through. Scoop.it lets you do exactly that and you can easily collect websites and create a beautiful newspaper of everything you have found.

Que recouvre ce concept, en quoi peut-il constituer un outil pertinent pour les professeurs documentalistes, quels peuvent-être ses apports pédagogiques ?
Telles sont quelques unes des questions que l'article en téléchargement ci-dessous, rédigé dans le cadre des TraAM 2012 (Travaux académiques mutualisés) se propose d'explorer.

Cet article aborde en premier lieu la curation comme outil pour la veille professionnelle conduite par le documentaliste (veille, publication, diffusion et partage), pour ensuite en étudier les apports pédagogiques potentiels.

Quatre annexes proposent des tutoriels pour l'utilisation d'un outil particulier de curation : Scoop.it.

A nouveaux usages, nouveau vocabulaire. A la fin de l’année 2010 le terme "curation" a fait son apparition dans le domaine de l’information-documentation directement influencé par les nouvelles utilisations du web 2.0 et la nécessité de filtrer, canaliser, exploiter, partager le flux pléthorique des informations. Ce néologisme, issu du terme curator anglo-saxon dénommant à l’origine le commissaire d’expositions d’art, désigne une activité que les documentalistes connaissent depuis longtemps : regrouper les informations, les sélectionner, les classer selon une thématique précise. La curation va cependant plus loin puisqu’il s’agit aujourd’hui de mettre en valeur ces données, de les éditorialiser et de les partager, valeur ajoutée rendue possible grâce à l’évolution des outils du web.
