Recordium - Add Visual Notes to Audio Recordings

Recordium - Add Visual Notes to Audio Recordings | Foreign Languages Education & EdTech | Scoop.it
Recordium is a new iPad and iPhone for creating audio recordings. At first glance the app reminded me Sound Cloud. Like Sound Cloud, Recordium can be used to quickly create a spoken note or to record someone playing an instrument. Recordium can be used to trim the end or beginning of a recording. You can also snip out a middle portion of a recording and save it as a separate recording or trash it. Where Recordium gets interesting is in the annotation features. The app allows you to highlight and tag portions of your recordings. Your tags can even include pictures. Completed recordings can be shared to a number of services including Google Drive and Evernote.

New: 10 of the best Apple and Android apps for education in 2013 | eSchool News

New: 10 of the best Apple and Android apps for education in 2013 | eSchool News | Foreign Languages Education & EdTech | Scoop.it

"Last year we presented “New: 10 of the best Apple apps for education in 2012,”  http://ow.ly/lzCD5 ; which highlighted some of the best apps for iPhones and iPods. However, with new upgrades in touch technology, and the emphasis on Common Core State Standards and school reform in general, we’ve come up with a new list of the best Apple- and Android-based education apps for 2013.

This year’s list includes some of the most highly rated apps, both by educators and by parents, and features a range that spans from interactive iBooks to current images of the universe, and from free video software to award-winning STEM curricula."

iPadogogy, Portfolios and iSense? - Dreaming Weaving Learning

iPadogogy, Portfolios and iSense? - Dreaming Weaving Learning | Foreign Languages Education & EdTech | Scoop.it
Slowly, sluggishly, another academic year draws towards its end. A year of bridges, a year of learning, a year of questioning. A year which leaves me with no e-portfolios to go through.

Some may find that a relief; personally, I find it a pity.

It is never too soon to have learners begin their e-portfolio, in particular when working within an iPadology framework. The question of e-portfolios has been widely accepted but where is the practice?"
