The following video is one of my students who was interviewed by one of our local TV stations who came I did a story within our my classroom. The story focused on Social Media, but with an emphasis on Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety. I share this; not as I method of “bragging” but demonstrating thatteaching students to be aware of what they share online “digital footprint” could and will have a lasting affect on their future. My goal is that I never have to hear about one of my former students being “trapped” because of something they said, posted, and/or shared on social media or the internet.
