If being gay is the cause of flooding, because it makes God cross, then London will soon be under water, for equality of sexual inclination is our capital’s badge of honour. I prefer, however, to follow the meteorology — and, more cautiously, the climate science. The Old Testament is not our trusty guide on this one.
