Insanity: US Approves Bee Death Pesticide as EU Bans It | GMOs & FOOD, WATER & SOIL MATTERS | Scoop.it

Corporate politics is business as usual inside the United States, as I am once again shocked to report the EPA has sided with industry lobbyists over public health in approving a highly dangerous pesticide that the European Union recently decided to ban over fears of environmental devastation.

Here’s a not-very-surprising development: At the ExxonMobil annual shareholder meeting in Dallas on May 29, the corporation’s CEO, Rex Tillerson, told those in attendance that an economy that runs on oil is here to stay and that cutting carbon emissions would do no good.

Insane Michigan government announces plan to destroy ranch livestock based on hair color and arrest hundreds of ranchers as felons
Monica S Mcfeeters's insight:

Kill all those wild pigs! I get it that sometimes we need to control something that is out of control.... but do we need to totally eliminate something and throw it's value away as well just as a reactive response?

Right now I'm in Saudi Arabia they will nearly kill you or maybe WILL kill you if you bring any pig into their country dead or alive...Let the pork industry love that!  They generally don’t like dogs at all either. I will post the flip side of this feral pig argument. The sad truth is many various domestic as well as feral creatures have fallen out of favor and most of us think there are only brown or white eggs from chickens.

I think there are many ways available to humans to control what we often selfishly consider pest in a more natural way. In Mississippi people love to hunt and the love to barbeque and that is true where these pigs are considered problems on this map. When I'm in Mississippi I see far more deer and I've yet to bump into a pig or boar.... Haven’t seen more than ten wild pig and boar in my whole life and I'm not young. I saw two boar fishing 40 years ago in Kentucky and a small herd kept by a farmer high in the mountains in Germany.  That is it and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a free roaming pig. I think the effort to purify domestically farmed herds and eliminate any competition from hunters or small farmers makes a lot more sense to this motivation and effort to eradicate rather than control the population.

Here is an event to follow. Hawaii has been a prime target for pushing the planting of GMOs. Now many people are starting to push back against GMOs. All through the USA these plants have been nearly secretly planted without any media attention or labels on products.

People, including farmers knew only what the biotech companies decided they would know. The idea that billions of acres all over the globe would be planted in barely twenty years without any serious challenge or discussion as to their safety and even now most Americans still don't realize they are eating them is astounding.

How Edmund de Rothschild Managed to Let 179 Governments Pay Him for Grasping Up to 30% of The Earth

Monica S Mcfeeters's insight:

OK, Here is today’s rant on this:

I'm just beginning to think and read about this anti-global warming idea and the money to be gained while saving the planet. Don't get me wrong I certainly think the planet needs saving. I'm not young and my gut instincts have rarely failed me, nor has my basic logic. My right and left-brain parts love to work, play and dance together.

There may be something to pay attention to in these conspiracy ideas if we listen to our gut questions and look for our answers while watching and being part of current events. This is an interesting Irish article from a group concerned with the New World Order. There is something to the idea about using the environment issue to gain financial and real global ownership and control that we might all want to watch out for.

I am concerned about this New World Order as well. I can certainly see that there is a financial and political effort to bring the globe's people, wealth and resources under control of and into the holdings of a few connected rich persons and their holdings.

I can appreciate the idea in this paper that global warming and threats to the environment, humanity and the planet can be used to enrich the wealth and power of those that can twist the story and it's outcomes. I don’t hold the idea that there are not serious environmental threats that need global efforts because there are threats and they do need all of our attention, thoughts and efforts to improve and correct. If you don’t think that’s true go for a swim in the Hudson or those canals full of trash and more in Egypt and take a big drink from Kentucky’s once drinkable mountain springs that have turned into coal mining black waters and enjoy your berries with so many different chemicals sprayed on them just so you won’t have to fight or share food with an ant.

When I think of a New World Order I then I see Occupy, the Brazilians, the Spanish, the Irish, the whole giant youth of the Mideast, the youth and people of England in London and Moral Monday’s of North Carolina and on and on and see that there is going to be a New World Order alright and these Rothschild’s plan and all the other old dinosaurs on either side of the traditional fences that think they can turn that huge human herd better move out of the way and into the natural and historical museums where they belong. They are yeaterdays ideas and ways and they lead us into this mess with like of insight that the world is changing. Their money bags have weighed them down and they've grown old and dreamless and have no real vision that helps anyone not even themselves and they have so few visionaries or people unblinded by wealth among them they can't even see their own demise if the continue to head the same direction.. This is an age when people from dirt poor third world countries can often speak two to five languages. Reasearch shows each language you master grows new brain connections....This is not a dumb world anymore and money is not everyone's master and God or else all of us would have already shot down all the rich and stolen the money.

The New (Financial) New World Order seems to have a counterpart they were hoping not to allow or maybe didn’t give serious thought about from the  profit side of things. This came in from the blind side with a mighty roar that will end with a earth shaking and shaping sound. The unplanned counter part would be the World Citizen’s New World Order. People the world over are saying …..with one loud Universal, Global voice…..YOU ARE NOT US AND WE WILL NOT LET YOU LEAD if you leave us out!

It is a voice demanding local control all over the globe through more direct, local citizen participation and more information sharing to help make wise decisions  and thus this univerisal couterpart of a global takeover has emerged. It is definitely an expansion of all governments to include active voices of the people. This is not a shrinking of government, but a people powered leadership demand. It is a demand for more local control over local economy and resources and cultures.

All our armies and police ARE our children, friends and family and they will always begin to remember that in extreme crisis even if it takes many dead at first. The wealthy of the world better start breeding because billions of us outnumber them and numbers like that hold weight when it comes to power. The wealthy have only gained ground over the last 30 years by keeping the masses in the dark and twisting the story by owning more and more of the media. Think of how much the rich would have to spend to hold their influence if every person kicked in $2 to just $100 (for a bit wealthier people). If we do this  globally on an annual basis we will break their wealth or put them in their place. Nothing against corporations or the rich as long as they serve the world well and aid rather than interfere with everyone’s and every creature’s welfare or try to control and own everything in life. They need to realize if they don't share the world and play nice all the rest of us WILL take all their toys but that wouldn't be a good thing for anybody either.

As you go about your diet plan, one thing that you may find yourself struggling with from time to time is late night snacking. You're at home, bored, often alone, and there really isn't much to do. Except snack, that is.
But, if you want to see successful weight loss on your diet plan, you must find a way to either overcome this late night snacking habit, or choose wisely so that it doesn't cause an offset to your progress.

Monica S Mcfeeters's insight:

These are all snacks most of us like as well as being healthy! Even if you aren't dieting they sound tasty. Flax seed mixed with tiny bits of candy coated licorice is also nice to chew after means. Our local Indian Restaurant has some sitting out to spoon into your hand instead of candy mints and it is far more refreshing.

Monica S Mcfeeters's insight:

Here's the flip side and by the way we own ten acres of mostly shaded wild woods in Mississippi that attaches to acres, if not miles more woods and land and I've still never seen a wild boar or hog. I noticed that this plea to get rid of pigs hails from Mississippi State and the land of master huntsmen...maybe pigs just don't look as cool on the wall as deer so they are sadly undesirable hunter food. I have seen occasional deer on our land.

Here I have reposted my same statement from the companion post today that states and shows the small wild pig farmer's point of view as he fights to keep his small mixed wild pig farm. The german farmer  I refered to had wild boar.... We fed them without fear but with caution as they greeted us from behind his fence and I think they ate right from our hand....but maybe we put the food on the ground. They didn't try to attack us and stayed on their side as much as a domestic creature would and I would have used the same caution with domestic pigs or more caution because they often look two or three times as large as those wild ones. Our children were 9 and 10 then.

My Reposted comment:.

China Introduces Death Penalty For Serious Cases Of Pollution | GMOs & FOOD, WATER & SOIL MATTERS | Scoop.it
Pollution is killing the world; a strong statement, but true. Certain levels of pollution are considered acceptable by many, such as vehicle exhaust fumes, but large levels of pollution must be controlled.
Monica S Mcfeeters's insight:

This  could be very bad news for corporations heading to China to avoid the tight environmental standards in other countries. Death Sentences aren't given to corporate citizens....They are given to those with not only corporate purse strings but real citizens with hearts that manage and fill those purses. Those that own and boards that manage those corporations would be personally held accountable for serious environmental abuses.

But a new study released by Food & Water Watch yesterday finds the goal of reduced chemical use has not panned out as planned.  In fact, according to the USDA and EPA data used in the report, the quick adoption of genetically engineered crops by farmers has increased herbicide use over the past 9 years in the U.S.  The report follows on the heels of another such study  by Washington State University research professor Charles Benbrook just last year.
