The week-end 16-18 September, it was eventually held the TAE Workshop with Nada Lou.
The impressions and feelings of this exceptionally resourceful experience are just splendid! To begin with, allow us to note that some of us had previously attended, in the Focusing Internationals, TAE presentations and had been excited by its sparkling quality, but what we experienced this week-end was “something more”… Nada Lou opened up for us, under a most tentative, informative, revealing and effective manner, a new brilliant chapter of Focusing, which though it is quite distinct from it, it does enrich our attachment to it. It might sound extreme but right from the first hours (we commenced late Friday afternoon and finished Sunday noon) a lot of the participants had caught this feeling of something special going on… Something really unique was occurring… Nada’s Lou deep, methodical and systematic knowledge of the field, plus her modest and kind presence led us to work with teenager’s zeal, single-minded to the process and finally enjoy very fruitful outcomes.
Thank you Nada! We did really benefit immensely from your charisma!
THE Hellenic Focusing Centre has the pleasure to invite you to a special double treat: an odyssey of discovering and developing you skills in Thinking At The Edge with a leading TAE teacher Nada Lou and a holiday at the beautiful Aegina Island in Greece September 16 – 18, 2011
TAE, like Focusing, is a practice developed from Eugene Gendlin’s Philosophy of the Implicit. TAE is an innovative way of expression, through speaking, thinking and writing from your ’ felt sense’. We each use our learned language(s) to communicate our everyday living situations within our socio-economic-political contexts; and we also use the same language to express our feelings, emotions, dreams, intuitive senses and personal meanings. Still, is our learned language proficient enough to sufficiently communicate these many and varied aspects of our lives? Are you continuously searching for the right words, expressions, and ways to communicate what you really feel or want to say or think? ....
I was born in Croatia, at the time it was one of Yugoslavia's Republics. Part of my formal education as teacher and passionate involvement in competitive gymnastics were skills I took with me into emigration - first Germany, then Australia and after seven years to my present home Montreal Canada. I earned my living as a high school teacher of Physical Education and Math. My other interests gave me motivation I needed to be nurtured by - as gymnastics coach, folk choir participant, student of Christian theology, videographer, and mother/grandmother. My present full time dedication is teaching around the world practice called Focusing and Thinking at the Edge (TAE) which originate from Philosophy of the Implicit. My DVDs production relate to these practices. See more at www.nadalou.com
