Saying that it has always been this way, doesn’t count as a legitimate justification to why it should stay that way. Teacher and administrators all over the world are doing amazing things, but some of the things we are still doing, despite all the new solutions, research and ideas out there is, to put it mildly, incredible.

As a teacher working in a school where we are wanting to introduce BYOD as the norm, we do have a lot of barriers to building that culture in the school environment.  Food for thought going forward.

Nice list, but I think the word 'should' is missing from the title. This is the 21st century and most of the things mentioned are still happening.

Very interesting insight! I agree completely, unfortunately most school directors don't. I would argue only with the case of traditional libraries.
