El presente artículo mostramos el entorno personal de aprendizaje creado para la formación tecnológica de los docentes universitarios que la implantación del espacio europeo de educación superior demanda, como resultado inicial del proyecto de investigación denominado Diseño, producción y evaluación de un entorno de aprendizaje 2.0 para la capacitación del profesorado universitario en la utilización educativa de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación” (Dipro 2.0-EDU2009-08893), concedido por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.

When you structure in asynchronous learning activities through the various guises of learning technology tools and carefully facilitate such activities the stages of Taylor's cycle are given the best chance of being rowed through by the learner. It's easy for learners to capsize in the first time they encourage the disorientation stage and they'll keep doing this every time they encounter it. Pretty soon they shy away from the mental states associated with the learning cycle.

We’ve already argued the case for formal learning, but it should be clear that, although running a course can often be the right way to address a need, there are many more cases where an alternative will be more effective and more efficient. Back in 1970, Peter Honey pleaded for us to ‘stop the courses, I want to get off.’ He argued that organising courses was the easy option, but that to create effective learning situations which were meaningful in terms of the job called for much more effort, imagination and innovation.
