Commonwealth of Learning - Survey on Governments’ Open Educational Resources (OER) Policies | Educación flexible y abierta | Scoop.it

As part of their joint project Fostering Governmental Support for Open Educational Resources Internationally, UNESCO and the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) invited all governments to provide information about their policies in relation to open educational resources (OER) to assess the current and potential uses of this approach to learning and teaching. This report provides an overview of the findings of the COL/UNESCO survey on OER policies and activity across all countries of the world, and puts forward some suggestions for promoting the use and development of OER and overcoming current obstacles to its implementation.

La formación de los docentes universitarios en TIC a partir de la transferencia del conocimiento de los docentes con experiencia en el uso de las TIC | Grupo de Tecnología Educativa

El estudio se centra en la formación del profesorado como factor determinante en la innovación educativa, con el fin de diseñar un entorno de formación acorde con los modelos de enseñanza emergentes propiciados por las TIC.

 

Se basa en el modelo TPACK para definir los diferentes tipos de conocimientos requeridos por los docentes para utilizar las TIC en la docencia y nos centramos en el conocimiento tecnológico pedagógico del contenido, que supone saber utilizar las TIC para apoyar estrategias y métodos pedagógicos en relación a su disciplina.

 

Se enmarca dentro de investigaciones relacionadas con la gestión del conocimiento y el aprendizaje en la organización, en la universidad. Lo que se pretende es aprovechar el capital intelectual de los docentes universitarios en relación a su experiencia en el uso de las TIC en la docencia con el fin de transferir dicho conocimiento al resto de profesores de la comunidad universitaria.

 

Ello requiere, en primer lugar, la búsqueda de metodologías para la captación de conocimiento experto, la búsqueda y el análisis de sistemas de gestión y representación de conocimiento y , en segundo lugar, el diseño de lo que denominamos Entorno Avanzado de Formación donde se llevará a cabo la transferencia de conocimiento.

I am very pleased to be able to announce the (self-) publication of my latest eBook, Connectivism and Connective Knowledge. It is a collection of blog posts, essays and transcripts from my talks covering all major con tributions to the field I have made in the last eight years. It is posted here to give people a single source and common point of reference for my work in the field.
Connectivism is the thesis that knowledge is distributed across a network of connections, and therefore that learning consists of the ability to construct and traverse those networks. The bulk of this work is devoted to tracing the implications of this thesis in learning. Yes, this could have been a shorter book – and perhaps one day I’ll author a volume without the redundancies, false starts, detours and asides, and other miscellany. Such a volume would be sterile, however, and it feels more true to the actual enquiry to stay true to the original blog posts, essays and presentations that constitute this work.
