Even though this was two years ago, how does this make you feel?

shomarii's curator insight, February 12, 2015 12:17 AM

This is an article that discusses how several Ku Klux Klan flyers were distributed within the community of Sedalia, Montgomery to help promote the organization. These members of the KKK distributed the flyers by putting them on windshields and paper bags weighed down with rock in order to avoid being charged with trespassing or littering. This shows how segregation still exists within some areas of the United States and nothing is being done to get rid of it. As stated within the article, police are not going to investigate these flyers because the members of the KKK did not break a law. I feel as if there should be some kind of investigation to apprehend these members in order to somewhat exterminate this kind of negativity within certain areas similar to Sedalia.
