I find drinking good old fashioned (organic) milk the most complete and quickest way to recover!

Post nutrition is vital to proper recovery and future progress. Simple carbs, protein, rehydration, electrolytes & alkalizing foods! I wish they had touched upon antioxidants & glucosamine.

This is an excellent resource, it not only gives clear suggestions on how to replenish after the workout, it also provides the reasons why these suggestions are so important.
