Giles Milton: TRAPPED AT VESUVIUS: A TALE OF ASTHMA AND OBESITY

Giles Milton: TRAPPED AT VESUVIUS: A TALE OF ASTHMA AND OBESITY | FIT,For Italy Tourism | Scoop.it

It was a gloriously sunny August afternoon and the Bay of Naples was filled with pleasure-craft.

Escaping Vesuvius: danger for asthmatics

From his couch on the terrace of his villa, Pliny the Elder could just make out the distant peak of Mount Vesuvius. He gazed at it lazily, only half aware that.....

Antonio Giuliano's insight:

I was born at Vesuvius feet's in Ercolano 6th of June 1946, two years after the eruption in 1944: My parents  where testimonials of this extraordinay and spectacular event. Not so devasting, no victims at all, but fascinating all around the Bay of Napoli! Now '' 'a Muntagna'' as we call it is sleeping ...and from its Top , people can see one of the best panorama worldwide!

Che località italiane cercano i russi su internet? | FIT,For Italy Tourism | Scoop.it

ALBERTO CORRERA's comment, May 14, 2013 6:28 AM
Antonio Giuliano's comment, May 27, 2013 2:24 PM
