Volunteers From Legget's Creek Bassmasters work with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's Division of Habitat Management to build and place 20 Short Vertical Plank Structures in Prompton Lake, Pennsylvania. These complex artificial habitat structures are created to provide overhead cover for ambush, hunt and flush foraging by Black Bass. They also provide excellent early season adult panfish cover, when coarse brush is added to the structure.
The lake habitat improvment project has been going on for 6 years. Lake habitat improvement maps and additional information can be found at PFBC website at- http://fishandboat.com/habitat.htm
