There are some really helpful free tools available to help any entrepreneur, image-challenged or not, make an impact at image hungry social sites e.g. Pinterest, Facebook and Google+. There's no doubt images draw attention and drive visibility and traffic.

Here is a quick tutorial to teach you how to insert questions into eduCanon. You will need to have a video in mind.
Some additional feature in eduCanon:

* You can crop videos

* You can group videos together for lessons

* You can monitor student progress

"Watch the rest of 3 Minute Teaching with Tech Tutorials on this web page, or by opening this YouTube Playlist."

Instead of putting on a video and relaxing, why not put in a quiz or some questions.......
Kelly Christopherson's curator insight, August 20, 2014 2:37 PM

I like the idea of being able to insert questions and comments into videos that will be used with students, either large group or individual. It provides for formative quick checks to ensure students are on track and can generate discussions amongst groups or with the whole class. I also think that, giving students this option, they could create reactions by asking questions and direct their own learning through adding questions or comments to what they are viewing.

Gamify your classrooms with Kahoot. | ipadders.eu | First Class Tech | Scoop.it
"This week I’ve been getting excited about using Kahoot in the classroom. Kahoot delivers online quizzes and surveys to your students. It works very similar to the more well-known Socrative. The teacher displays the question and the answers on the beamer or tv in the front of the classroom. The students see the corresponding icon and color on their screen. They have 30 seconds to answer on their devices and get points for every question they answer right. The quicker they answer the more points they receive. After each question the top 5 students are shown on the board with their scores. This is where it gets exciting. The students love this immediate feedback and want to get to the top position. I have never seen students so focused on answering the questions correctly."

Create Short Biographies With Morfo 3D Faces - iPad Apps for School

Create Short Biographies With Morfo 3D Faces - iPad Apps for School | First Class Tech | Scoop.it
"Yesterday, at the Catholic Schools Foundation Summer Tech Conference at Boston College I saw a fantastic panel discussion on using technology in K-2 classrooms. One of the really neat things that I saw was an example of students using Morfo 3D Faces to create short biographies. Morfo 3D Faces is an iPad app that you can use to create a talking picture of person’s face. You can take a picture of a person or you can take a picture of a picture of a person (think taking a picture of a picture of George Washington). Once you’ve captured the picture you can customize the face by altering the eyes, mouth, and nose to move as you talk. After customizing the picture you can record yourself talking."
