Condemnation of racism turns out racist-flavoured?

Condemnation of racism turns out racist-flavoured? | Finland | Scoop.it
The True Finns Party's declaration in late May condemning racism was partially aimed at themselves, says professor of constitutional law Tuomas Ojanen of the University of Helsinki. The statement penned by MP Jussi Halla-Aho would prohibit the positive aspects of special treatment as well as racism.
“The issue here is reaching true equality between people. We’re trying to improve the conditions of people who are in a weaker position due to discrimination and put them on an equal footing with us,” Professor Ojanen says, defining positive special treatment.

Reading this post made me a bit worried with few speculations - as a foreign student in Helsinki, the atmosphere of xenophobia is getting stronger - that is true. But - have what you said can be actually proven? for instance, can you provide a link for this statement: "Currently Halla-aho's hobbies include shooting and he has fantazised in his blog about shooting homosexuals in the head."

The longer I stay here in Finland, the less I like it, I'm really reaching the limits...

Someone had cancelled the tweet link. Here is the blog link (which is also in upper left corner): http://finnishnazigallery.blogspot.com/2011/05/master-of-finnish-fascism-jussi-halla.html?spref=tw

I am not commenting personally very often, I curate news related to Finland, and use Scoop.it as a curating tool. Sometimes few blog writings are included on my Finland-site. This is a year old blog, when there was a lot of discussion about the "True Finns" after their win in Parliament election. So, you can read the whole blog yourself.
No comments from my side, as the blog is not mine.

Legal experts: aspects of True Finns anti-racism declaration would violate constitution

Legal experts: aspects of True Finns anti-racism declaration would violate constitution | Finland | Scoop.it
A number of legal scholars in Finland say that a declaration by the Parliamentary group of the True Finns party against discrimination, racism, and violence contains elements that would go against the Finnish constitution, and would also be in violation of certain international human rights agreements that Finland is committed to.
Kaarlo Tuori, Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Helsinki, sees the declaration as “very problematic”.
Tuomas Ojanen, Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Helsinki, denounces the declaration as “terrible”, and urges other Parliamentary groups to ignore calls from the True Finns to join it. “On the contrary, it should be condemned”, Ojanen says.
Veli-Pekka Viljanen, Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Turku, says that the implementation of the declaration would lead to a significant deterioration of equality in Finland.
