Traditionally Finland has actively supported UN actions and resolutions. However researcher Charly Salonius-Pasternak from the Finnish Institute of International Affairs says that Finland is not doing enough in regard to Libya.
“It’s difficult to watch—when for years support has been given for protection of civilians and implementation of UN resolutions—that now it’s announced so quickly that there’s no involvement whatsoever,” Salonius-Pasternak said in an interview with the YLE Aamu-tv programme.
