MultiTouch touch wall installed at the NASA Space Center - Good News from Finland | Finland |
The US Space Agency NASA has installed a multi-touch touch wall manufactured by the Finnish company MultiTouch. The 2.4 metre wide LCD wall is situated at the Houston Space Center where it is used to demonstrate the first flight of the space shuttle.

The display wall is in use at the visitor centre in the astronauts’ training facility. Visitors can move shuttle craft in space, expand and reduce the size of images as well as create star bursts. Touching the images of the shuttle craft opens up displays containing images and data of their first flights. The wall can be accessed by several users simultaneously. Around 800,000 visitors come to the exhibition every year.
