In a tough match, Argentina beat Suiza 1-0 in extra time. The Argentinan goal was from Ángel Di María and put Argentina through to the quarters-final. At the end, Lionel Messi said: "We are very tired. We didn't want to go to penaltis shoots". Marcos Rojo ended the game injured and he can't play the match against Belgium because he has two yellow cards.

"go to penalties" probably is not the correct way of saying this in English. I can't find the right expression, but it's probably something with "penalty shootout"..

There is a long list of players that are going to miss the World Cup -- or are in danger of missing the competition.

A lot of superb players will be miss the World Cup by being injured. The list is so long and includes names like Frank Ribery, Marco Reus and Radamel Falcao. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be miss the World Cup too, but because his country didn´t qualify to World Cup.

Nasri will miss the World Cup because coach Deschamps left him off the list of 23 players. Deschamps said the Manchester City midfielder was not to happy when he replaced him and it is for this reason he decided not included int the list.

Finally, Luis Suárez recived a ban for biting Chielini during the match between Uruguay and Italy. This is not the first time Suárez bites a player. The striker can't play soccer for four months and also he will miss the next nine matchs of Uruguay.

Cameroon was eliminated by Croacia in an odd match. The africans complete a disastrous Wolrd Cup but yet they must play against Brazil, at the last match of the A Group. In the first match Cameroon lost against México, and yesterday they defeat Croacia 4 - 0.

The Argentina national team today carried out behind closed doors their first training session since arriving in Brazil, as preparations continue for Sunday's World Cup debut against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The team directed by Alejandro Sabella start the trainings in Belo Horizonte. Many Argentinian players continued their recovery like Martín Demichelis, Lucas Biglia and Maximiliano Rodríguez. Garay and Higuaín are already rehabilitated from their injures and training with the rest of the team. 

Argentina will play the match against Bosnia next Sunday at the Maracaná Stadium.

Nationalities: Capital letters and no plural forms. Her is for 3rd person singular feminine (SHE). You need the possesive adjective for "THEY"... which is it?

Star Colombian striker Radamel Falcao admitted that he still doesn't know if he will recover from his long-standing knee injury in time to play at the World Cup.

According to statements by a French newspaper, Radamel Falcao would not recover from his knee injury and would miss the Brazil World Cup. The Colombian striker has four months of recovery and still  two more to go. However, the national coach of Colombia, Jose Pekerman, included him in the preliminary list of 30 players.
