I absolutely LOVE that people can come together and help each other and not put all of the responsibility on the government, but I don't love that they complain about doing it. FEMA may be an agency of Homeland Security but as of 2011 they employed 7,474 people and while that might sound like a large amount of people, it's not. FEMA employees are in every state so that 7,474 people are spread among the states. Imagine how many FEMA workers are in NY out of all their employess, my guess would be not many. Like I said it's great that the people are coming together but I personally think they need to cut the FEMA workers in their state a break.
