I wish our school cafeteria had way healthier food or at least fruit cups. Even though we do not stay in anymore I still wanna be able to get a snack from the cafeteria between classes to have as a snack but all that is there is greasy, gross food.

It would be a lot better if schools had healthier lunches, especially in high schools where kids are allowed to buy as much as they want and eat as much as they want. Even though healthy options might cost more it would be more beneficial in the long run.

This isn't the best type of source to base your essay on. Use it for inspiration, but don't rely on it for facts.

Some people are upset that people want to serve fast food in schools and in hospitals but....if they do not buy anything from them, why does it affect them so much? Fast food and what you put into your body is in your control but you can not control what others put in theirs.

Cheyenne Rowe's comment, April 7, 2014 1:20 PM
It's true that you choose what goes into your own body. It's still crazy that they have it in schools.
Cassandra Ortiz's comment, April 10, 2014 11:04 PM
I agree with you completely on how people really shouldn't be getting upset over there being fast food restaurants in hospitals and or schools, they are in control of their body and shouldn't look to blame others on what they chose to eat.

A very interesting article, Aman. So, do you think that schools should offer fast food in order to curb students from leaving campus to get their junk food fix? Should schools ban it, knowing that students will just go elsewhere? Should cities step in and develop by-laws that do not allow fast food restaurants to strategically place themselves within a short walk of schools? I recall the burger king near ME LaZerte which was always filled with students . . . what does our cafeteria provide? Are these the best options? Yes, I've left you lots of questions. You don't need to answer each question. They're meant to help you think deeply about the issue from multiple perspectives.
