Ellie's insight:

When starting a business you need to understand what you should do and how you are getting to work like that. You should get a degree in business and fashion industry. Having a company means you need to put money in your investment. It could be around 75,000 dollars. It is fun because you get to see the new grands and incoming styles. You have an insight look on what it looks like people will love before it comes out. You are creative and get to have fun with the theme and the window design. It is fun but it also is a lot of hard work. You don't sell cute outfits as much as you clean the business and do stocks. You have to keep the Money on track and make sure you have enough cloths to sell. It is fun but you have to be serif about it.

I really like how Ellie described her article clearly, taking the reader through the steps of what you must do to become a fashion editor. There are suggestions, for example, she says that you should become an intern for magazines, or try to go to college in New York, where there are great fashion schools. You should also venture out and try and give out your resume to as many companies/magazines as possible. There are also some other little reminders Ellie added, such as fitting the look and dressing appropriately, something that can would come easy to most who are trying to become a fashion editor. Overall, Ellie explained the article clearly and thoroughly for the reader to comprehend. Great job!

I agree completely with this article! You definitely have to be on top of everything to be a fashion editor. Your social skills also need to be on pint since you are constantly having to have conversions with people in that line of work. This industry is becoming bigger and bigger due to social media so being able to work all of the blogging type of websites is key. I think you summed up the article really well and pulled out the important points of it. It was well written, and I learned what it really means to be in that kind of work

I find this article to be pretty accurate. PR is of course important in any website or magazine where the news is always current because you will need people to go on your site more frequently. However fashion editor certainly have to attend social events so later on you can cover them on your site. Yes social media has changed all websites and has certainly effected the fashion industry. I used to be much easer when you only had to prepare for a story at the end of the month but now you always have to be prepared.

This article is very correct. To be a fashion editor you need a lot of responsibilities. There is a lot of things that a fashion editor needs to know. You need to know how to deal with being a very public figure. You need to have good social skills and be able to talk to people fluently and gracefully. Blogs are very important in a fashion editors life and so are events such as galas and openings. It is very important to get your name around town and become very famous in the fashion word. This line of work is very hard and time consuming but it definitely pays off.
