Some remarkable information.  The other question is how effective are those programs that companies have put into place? The key word is strategy!

Why Moving to South East Asia was the Best Business Decision I’ve Ever Made

Why Moving to South East Asia was the Best Business Decision I’ve Ever Made | Fashion by Africa for plus size women | Scoop.it
I live a life that makes a lot of people uncomfortable. Together with my husband, I run an affiliate marketing business; and up until 7 months ago we were flatlining. You see our business was growing, slowly.

Stephen Van Delinder's curator insight, July 27, 2013 6:57 PM

One of my uber mentors, Timothy Ferris (@tferris) once wrote that, "Money is multiplied in practical value depending on the number of W's you control in your life: what you do, when you do it, where you do it, and with whom you do it."

I had the worldview shattering experience to live, work, and travel in Asia for over six months last year. A thought that crossed my mind more than once was how beneficial it would be to have the lifestyle and overhead from SEA with the income from a digital business in the west. Apparently I was not the only person with this idea...

It is encouraging to read articles like this. There are a million definitions for entrepreneurs these days, but one thing is for sure. Entrepreneurs must see things differently and be more fluid and willing to adapt. Extended international travel is challenging for a number of reasons, but if you approach things with the mindset and intention of remaining uncomfortable, you are forced to grow.

Moving to SEA is a creative way to lower personal and business overhead, grow personally, and seriously enhance one’s lifestyle. My hats off to you Jill (@clark_jill).

I'd add to this....share with customers what you know about them...without telling them directly -- naturally.  It's important to let your market know you understand and feel their pains.  It's great when you share there pain.
