Apple is positioning itself as a luxury brand that can be fashionable enough to be worn alongside a Burberry trench or with a pair of YSL Tributes.

Is Apple a luxury company now? Definitely. Bringing on two fashion execs from Burberry and YSL send a clear signal that Apple is looking at wearables as a fashion item and positioning itself as a luxury company.
