USDA 10yr Ag Projections
10-year projections to be released: USDA will release new 10-year agricultural projections, Feb. 13, at http://www.usda.gov/oce . The long-term projections are developed by interagency committees in USDA, covering crop and livestock commodities, agricultural trade and aggregate indicators, such as farm income and food prices through 2021.

The events honor National Agriculture Day and mark a nationwide effort to tell the true story of American agriculture and remind citizens that agriculture is a part of all of us. A number of producers, agricultural associations, corporations, students and government organizations involved in agriculture are expected to participate.
When we talk about natural resource constraints on business — such as shortages in water or increases in the cost of energy or agricultural products — we tend to forget how deeply intertwined these commodities are.
