"Moonhaven Wiki is an encyclopedia about everything related to the Second Life roleplaying community known widely as "the Havens", beginning with the singular sim, Moonhaven. It has now expanded to encompass four sims, all ending in the word "Haven": Moonhaven, Darkhaven, Starhaven, and Ridgehaven (in order of addition). There is also a sub-region above Starhaven that is to become a fifth sim in the near future, Icehaven."
"Libertine is a brand from Fallen Gods they decided to start more than a year ago, working part time from skin line to building. It’s a personal choice for aesthetics and usability over furniture, a scent of personal taste and choice I am sharing with you. They are not meant as universal perfection, but as a research for personal perfection, which leads to constant development."
"This sim is a light fantasy roleplay sim catering mainly to mythological creatures and humans. The Seven Isles roleplay does not adhere to any specific canon. Before you teleport down to the ground, please dress appropriately for the theme of the sim (medieval/fantasy). While at ground level, be respectful of those who are in-character. Likewise, the landing point, Market, and Lounge are out-of-character zones, so players should respect those who are out-of-character in these areas."
"We created Dubhan after several years of role playing and growing tired of the cliques that develop in some rp sims. We wanted to created a place where everyone felt welcome and got a chance to roleplay. Our GM's understand that in order to make roleplay, as real as possible, you have to let other character storylines weave into your own. Our labor of love became Dubhan, and we hope that you all enjoy it as much as we do."
The Ithryn Guild, formerly 'The Mage Guild of Sylvhara, Torgan, Vindarkis and Vana' is part of the Sylvhara realm, a Role Play Community in the virtual world of Second Life. Sylvhara is one of many fantasy realms, united in "The Great Alliance".
The Realm is an rp sim (actually one of 4 sims, but as usual, I simply concentrate on this one). It is the home of the human race, the drow, the dwarves and the goblins, other races living on the other sims.
"Avilion is the private residence of Serenity Sieyes and Malakh Giles. You as a visitor are welcome and we wish you a wonderful time in our world. The website of a second life community. An off-world meeting place for the citizens of the Isle of Dee to share news and views, stories and plans.
It is the Tudor age: approximately 1500 -1600AD. The Isle of Dee is said to be located in the Celtic Sea, while nobody knows exactly where. It has become known as the ”Graveyard of the Pirates” or ”The forgotten Island”, for, although it is a pleasant land with a mild climate, its dark history is filled with events of unimaginable terror and disaster. Besides the tales of goblins and drow, lost kings and chaotic magic, over 350 shipwrecks are recorded and several thousand drowned seafarers are buried on the island in unmarked graves. For this Isle is surrounded with an ever-present fog, and edged by high cliffs and rocky reefs. The shore drops away rapidly into chill, deep, turbulent waters. Fierce tidal streams and currents add to the dangers of dramatic and unpredictable storms and wildly variable winds, playing havoc with the plans and instruments of sea captains. In short, this rocky outcrop, this Isle, is a mariner's worst nightmare.
There's an enormous number of roleplay-themed Second Life communities based around every conceivable theme and narrative -- I'm still astounded there's a small but active one based on courtier life in Louis the XV's Versailles (1772) -- and just as many...
