Originally from Silicon Valley, Roxanne graduated from UCLA and worked for the Invest in France Agency (AFII) for 2 years before moving to France in 2009 to pursue a joint masters degree at Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics in International Political Economics.

During her master's program, she became the Editor of TechCrunch France and co-founded Girls in Tech Paris. She recently joined the team at Startupbootcamp, a European startup accelerator with programs in 5 different countries and is also involved in LeBridge, an organization that seeks to connect the entrepreneurial scenes in different European cities.

Cassandra Phillipps has been planning startup industry events and conferences for nearly four years, including FailCon, SF MusicTech Summit, Inside Social Apps, Unleashed Talent, and many more.

She works closely with Bay Area founders and executives, helping them develop engaging events, stimulate informative conversations, attract experienced participants, and host a smooth and successful event.

She has a bachelors degree in Human Development from the University of Chicago. In her rare free time, she enjoys costume making and comic book reading.
