Remote code flaws in browser fixed
Apple has released security updates to protect users from remote code executions in the company's Safari and OS X platforms. The company said that the Safari 6.0.3 update would include fixes to patch vulnerable components of the browser and its WebKit engine. The update includes fixes for flaws which, if targeted by an attacker, could allow for remote code execution attacks.
Additionally, the update addresses a pair of flaws in the browser which could be exploited by attackers to perform a cross-site scripting attack.
Apple is recommending that users running OS X Lion download the Safari update through the Apple Software Update application. Via Gust MEES

When learning is personal, teaching and learning changes. Teachers' and learners' roles change. Last January, we created a chart comparing Personalization vs Individualization vs Differentiation and a report that explained the difference between these three terms including teacher-centered vs. learner-centered approaches. This chart has been downloaded tens of thousands of times from all over the world and prompted discussions around some of these questions:
> How do you see teachers' and learners' roles changing? > How does a school or district know they are Ready to Transform learning? > What is Assessment AS Learning? > Can personalization help close the achievement gap? > Where are the conversations, models, and examples of personalizing learning?

Are we sure that Critical Thinking is really appreciated as it should? In my personal experience critical thinker are often opposed if not hunted. Deciding to be a critical thinker may have a high price especially in certain context like industry or management. Definitely it brings better results and can easily foster innovation, but it is hated by man of power and yes-men. I pride myself of constantly trying to be a critical thinker and most of all to be critical of myself and my actions, but I have to say that this has taken me quite a toll in my life, yet I do not regret it. Sorry for stepping in, I do hope this two-penny thought could help in sparkle some discussion on how to foster critical thinking.
