Above all of the consideration regarding predicting of what will be the next web design trend, "Keep an Eye on Social Media" is one of the most important and the easiest, understandable means of web design prediction.

Why? Almost all social media websites change their website's design to the latest transition. This means that they followed what's hot and trending about web designs each year. Also, social media developers always anticipated the term synchronization meaning if there are OS updates on phones and gadgets they take into account that the desktop version should look similar to what the social app would look like or vice versa.

Another thing, with the features of social media people share relevant information about any trends that includes web designs. Even so, you're not doing any analysis, the outcome is you'll know what design could come out next before someone announces it and claim the new website design trend online.

Further, aside from "Keep an Eye on Social Media", the second easiest way to predict is through mobile operating system (OS) updates. Evidently visible since almost everyone owns a mobile smartphone or gadget that supports the 4 major operating systems. These OS includes Mac, Android, Blackberry OS, and Windows. If any one of these do a system update then after a day or two (after a week or after a month) the other OS's would do major changes as well and will prompt each mobile user to necessarily do an update in coherence with any apps updated and installed on your mobile smartphones and gadgets.

The changes does not only fixes any possible previous bug in response to your installed app but this also let you see the major changes on how the app would look like and behave in relevance to desktop version. Take for instance, Mac went to OS 7 version and surprisingly they call the look as the flat design.  It becomes a trend and many users love it. And turn out that Facebook and other social media websites also do updates in order to gain stability on how their app would behave in correlation with the updated OS. Thus, if Mac went Flat then Facebook must have done their web design Flat as well.

Those are just the easiest and very simple tips on how to predict a certain trending web design. And in order to minimize any anticipated minor glitches, a web developer who manage websites should always consider the term update and should have web designs updated in coherence to what the update requires (on mobile gadgets). And should have websites that are both desktop friendly and mobile friendly (a website with compatibility feature).
