Skot Wiedmann is raising funds for Hyve Touch Synth: Make the future of musical expression on Kickstarter!
A fun, expressive musical instrument you can make, hack and play. Build a beautiful analog synth that responds to touch and movement
Have you ever hear the HYVE? A 60-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that is controlled by pressure, horizontal, and vertical movements of each finger on the surface. Sounds really great. After 4 years of development and workshops, Skot Wiedmann offer us a kickstarter project to access this new instrument. He propose you 3 versions: Hyve Premium: ready to play, Hyve Maker: fully working and requires no soldering, you tune the notes and assemble the legs to start playing and you can built your own box, Hyve Hacker: only a circuit board with the touch interface to build your own. I'm pretty sure it will be a success!
ELBOW was conceived with burning passion by, and for, cassette tape lovers!
A cool idea here and a beautiful design for this portable cassette tape player. This support become popular again in the experimental music world, so hope this company will have success to finalize this with a low price.
Today, no experimental hardware or software, but an album. a really great album by Christine Webster, who use his minimal modular system in a really creative way, no simple evolving patches as often, but real compositions here. From Etheral moments ( Oxymoron, Levit) to introspection movies (Ostinato, lazy sunday) and this album arrive not on vinyl or cd support but on a nice metal usb key (so good quality with 48000Hz/24-bits .wav files) and bonus sounds. You'll also find a complete description of each song for modular fans ! Limited edition, so don't miss it ! https://christinewebster.bandcamp.com/merch/diary-1-special-edition
The technique of electromyography (EMG) allows us to amplify and measure these electrical signals from our body. In addition to being a useful clinical tool for diagnosing different neurological disorders, EMG recordings are used here for MIDI controller DIY project. Thanks to johnwmillr, you'll find list of part and other videos on the instructables website : https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Muscle-MIDI-Music/
Joué is an innovative and evolving instrument simplifying digital music playing. It offers beginners and professional artists a unique level of expressivity and spontaneity.

I've always love this sounds from theses particular radios receivers. This time no equipment required except your web browser. Select a base frequency, a bandwidth and navigate slowly to find sounds jewels and strange noises . The bonus is you can record your experience and even save presets.

Of course I'm afraid about the price, but this new controller, used a generic Midi controller can really be a dream for me, 24 faders, many knobs with names ( easy to remember functions, even if its not the sames for your plugins/Daw) , Nice look. Congrats to the team anyway .

Imagine a kind of sensor tape you can cut, assemble as you need. A lot of possibilities in this prototype ! A kind of leap motion you can hack and adapt to your project. I will be curious to test it in Usine Hollyhock.
Usine Hollyhock II is definitely under the radar, although I'm not too sure why. It's not new software by any means, the original version called Usine launched in 2006 undergoing version changes up to v5 in 2010. Hollyhock launched towards the end of 2012 with Hollyhock II launched in March 2015. Currently the launch price…
Ever tried to add FX while scratching without breaking your flow? As both hands are already busy to control the fader and the record, it's pretty muc
Don't practice scratch myself, but i suppose this tool can be adapted to other hardware, up a pitch while creating cutoff modulation, open a filter while moving panoramic and so, could be fun. Its wireless, so hope it's a good technology . More infos: http://bit.ly/2nLIZKY

The world's first fully modular keyboard. On the road or in the studio, Kombos Keyboards now allow you to bring music anywhere you go.
Here a definitively good idea: A MIDI keyboard , 25, 37,49 and up to 61 keys. Following your needs and easy for transport. Just plug a new octave in 2 seconds. Hope Blue tooth will be solid. On Mac you'll need at least Yosemite. Works also on IOS and Android, good news
