Ganesh's insight:

This is a map of Los Angeles.

The book is set in the city of LA, so this map would be an accurate depiction of the setting. It makes it sort of helpful to envision the plot.

Yes. This is a wonderful, well thought out, and relevant scoop it tile, that visually complements my reading of the book Ex-Heroes.

If decide to read this book, I can see how this map would help me. Sometimes when I'm reading I never am fully able to imagine what the location would look like, but with the help of this picture I would be able to imagine the streets of LA.

Ganesh's insight:

This video provides an accurate description of The Mighty Dragon (AKA St. George).

Mighty Dragon is the main character more or less of the story. He sticks to morals and is all about protecting not only the humans, but also the ways of humanity.

Ganesh's insight:

Ex-Heroes is a post-apocalyptic story of zombies and superheroes. An unknown virus sweeps across the land, reanimating the dead and making their only purpose to bite and spread the virus. In Los Angeles, California, two groups survive. One group survives at the Paramount Studios and is led by the superheroes, while the other group is across the town and is led by a gang known as the Seventeens. While protecting against the zombies, these two groups often fight each other. There are a few superheroes. The Mighty Dragon (St. George) - He can fly, very strong, indestructible, and breathe fire. Gorgon - Absorbs strength and energy of others by looking at them. Stealth - Basically just a ninja girl. Zzzap - Can turn into pure energy. Cerberus - Iron Man, but not as cool

The theme is all about teamwork, trust , and survival. The characters stick together to fight it out and survive. The people trust the superheroes to protect them. And they all ultimately try to survive.

I liked the book, but felt it lacked logic. For example, the superheroes should be able to kill all the zombies with no problem, yet they fail to do so. The Seventeens later have a guy who can control the zombies, yet we don't know how. Stuff like that takes away from the story, but otherwise it was a good read.

The way you described this book makes me want to look into it some more. It seems like despite the minor setbacks you mentioned, it is still seems like an exciting book. I just may have to read it over the summer!
