Parents & Teachers Resources: Privacy Protection on the Web

Parents & Teachers Resources: Privacy Protection on the Web | Everything iPads | Scoop.it

Young people today are sophisticated users of the Internet, using this medium with ease and enthusiasm. While the opportunities are tremendous, we want to ensure that they understand the impact that these technologies can have on their privacy, and provide them with tools and information they need to make smart decisions.

This is why we developed a video and teaching lessons to encourage young people to learn how to build a secure online identity so they don’t put themselves at risk.

This site is developed by The Privacy Commissioner of Canada http://priv.gc.ca/aboutUs/index_e.cfm
