The opinions of the fans is a good insight into waht the public believes on this issue. The statistics and reasoning that Heath McDonald adds in is very interesting and makes for a good read.

The money aspect of this article is very valid, to increase the budget for anti-doping and other drug detection would be money coming out of much more important accounts. Really what the writer is asking is is it worth it? Are drugs in sport that significant that other things suffer because of it? Or should we turn a blind eye and forget about the drugs, and rather focus on the extroadinary performances if the athletes.

A lack of evidence exists to support EPO doping provides an advantage to elite athletes.  Preliminary studies only indicate the probability of harm to users.  Does Lance deserve to keep his medals following this controversial report or is the intent to gain an unfair advantage enough to merit stripping his medals?
