"My husband accuses me of causing the storm" replied Janet Kynard, founder of www.ItHappensinAlabama.com, "When I plan things far in advance as I did with this event, registering in mid-summer, it gave Mother Nature a lot of time to get this storm together. When I plan camping trips just spur of the moment, the weather is great, so I am very sorry to the other 108 paddlers that were planning to attend this great event."
