Enter now, Closing date 12 September 2014 at 12.00noon

 

 

The European Competition 2.0 asks educators/teachers to show how they are using Internet software or sites and mobile apps in innovative and creative ways in their teaching.

 

To enter you need to make a short video showing how you use the app.

 

The best, decided by are international panel of judges, will win prizes and be invited to present their ideas (all expenses paid) at the European Conference in the Applications of Enabling Technologies, 2014 20-21 November 2014, Glasgow, Scotland. (please note, only flights originating within Europe can be funded).

Ed2.0Work is a European Union funded education project that has two missions:

<   To create a network that spans education and the world of work and is designed to improve the use of Web2.0 tools in both fields.

<   To create a set of tools for the empirical evaluation of Web2.0 tools

 

 

The project will create a network between stakeholders in the education and work sectors that will examine how both should be using Web2.0 in the education and work environments.

ECAET is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practices in the use of Web2.0 technologies in education, leisure and business. The ECAET promotes collaborative excellence between academics and professionals from a range of disciplines providing an opportunity for researchers from various fields with cross-disciplinary interests to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research esteem and the evolution of the usage and uptake of technology. ECAET 2014 invites research papers that encompass conceptual analysis, design implementation and performance evaluation. All the accepted papers will appear in the proceedings and modified versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of peer reviewed journals.

StartUp_EU http://startup-eu.net/ is an EU project for schools to motivate secondary school students by replicating the excitement and creative innovation of a new start-up company. The project will create an educational game to develop entrepreneurial skills forsecondary school students. They will learn about entrepreneurship through an online game and competition that will be judged by entrepreneurs, with prizes.

 

We invite your school to take part in the game that starts on 1 April 2013, it is for students 14 to 18 years of age.
