The Free plan requires you to log in and out of Twitter and Facebook, but when you upgrade, and connect your Twitter, Facebook Page and a choice of your LinkedIn profile or Company Page, then you are able to select a variety of content and share or schedule the content to any of the three channels.

The Challenge of Getting Visibility on Facebook [infographic]

The Challenge of Getting Visibility on Facebook [infographic] | EU project dissemination | Scoop.it

Many face the challenge of getting visibility on Facebook in the newsfeed, especially for business pages.  And, maybe that’s why I’m hearing more and more people talking about moving over to Google+.

It’s estimated that only about 10% of the people who follow your Facebook page, actually see your content. So you’re left to spend an unreal amount of time posting pictures, videos, polls and links in the hope that your followers will see and engage with your content. Or, you can advertise your content with promoted posts and offers in an attempt to get attention in the newsfeed.

If you’re committed to marketing your business on Facebook (and with over 1 billion users, who isn’t?), the infographic below may help you choose how to engage for the best return on your investment of time.

If you’ve ever wondered exactly how sites like Mashable get some much social traction, this might just help give you a little insight into it, and to be honest, it’s not an art, it’s a science, knowing post by post exactly what gets the most sharability per post… Then doing more of that! Hence, my pet hate… The  ’10 things you need to…’ type of list post!

From this Infographic, you’ll see that your optimal time to post new content, is when both the US and Europe are awake, that human interest/watercooler type content is by far the most popular content to share, with Images and Video being key, but it’s value depends on the social network.

How to increase the visibility of your Facebook Page [infographic]

How to increase the visibility of your Facebook Page [infographic] | EU project dissemination | Scoop.it

Facebook is seen by many as the ultimate social media marketing platform to engage with your customers and prospects. Nearly 1 billion potential customers are using it, providing you with the means to reach and engage with all of them.

Promotional activities seem to center around a singular, focused social media marketing objective of increasing Facebook “likes”. Often all other social media and marketing strategies are ignored because of this obsession. The longer term tactics of content creation, optimising for search engines and building email lists are forgotten in the “liking” acquisition frenzy.
