New study finds Facebook page reach has declined 20% in 2017

It’s not just you and your Page - according to new research by BuzzSumo, the average number of engagements with Facebook posts created by brands and publishers has fallen by more than 20% since January 2017.
BuzzSumo analyzed more than 880 million Facebook posts from publisher and brand Pages over the past year, noting a clear decline in engagements since early 2017.

Report: Poor online travel experiences leading to lost sales

Travel companies may be losing conversions and sales opportunities due to disappointing online experiences, according to a new report.
The study, from agile software development specialists, Black Pepper Software, indicates that nearly two thirds (60%) of UK consumers now research and buy their holidays and breaks away online. However, travel companies’ current online offerings may not be sufficiently meeting the needs of connected shoppers, with 47% of UK customers complaining of slow webpage loading times and 41% agreeing that ecommerce sites had overly complex check-out processes.

Veille info tourisme - Le trafic du site Airbnb surpasse celui des sites concurrents de voyage

Selon les données de SimilarWeb, Airbnb, la référence de l’économie collaborative pour le secteur de l’hébergement, attire maintenant sur son site plus de trafic que n’importe quel site de marque hôtel ou metasearch.

Au premier trimestre 2017, Airbnb a enregistré 106,9 millions de visites sur son site de réservation, soit une augmentation de 31% par rapport à 2016.

Ces résultats surpassent les statistiques de visites des sites américains Booking.com (filiale du groupe Priceline), ainsi que Hotels.com. Le site Airbnb dépasse également largement le nombre de visiteurs des sites de marque Marriott et Hilton.
