This tool allows you to easily export the concordance lines into a text file. Provided the text was either online or in a text file, it also makes identifying vocabulary words in texts easier. As a corpus tool on the web, I find the option of being able to upload multiple texts into the corpus one of the benefits of the site. But this tool is still in Beta mode, so there may still be some kinks with it that need worked out. Delete the scoop?

Strange there are only Desktop/Laptop tools listed in this Top 5. I believe a tablet is a more appropriate device for mind mapping. On my own in a declining chair as well as in a group without the screen standing up between participants. Personally i love IthoughtsHD on the iPad.

This morning while I was preparing to give a talk about personal learning networks at the TIE Conference in South Dakota I was watching the conference when I saw Gwynn Moore Tweet about Tagboard. Tagboard is free tool that allows you to enter any hashtag and view all of the Tweets, Instagram pictures, Facebook posts, Google+ posts, and Vine posts associated with that hashtag. I have just began testing this recommendation by Richard Byrne on Free Technology 4 Teachers. But in the time I have taken to test the web resource, I have found it to live up to the billing of syncrhonizing notes to the video. Now the video used was from YouTube and the site does have an option for other videos. So, I will be looking further into what other video sources it will work with while synchronizing one's notes to Google Drive.

Thanks for your comment Dean - I have had some problems - when deleting a 'chapter mark' it seems to throw sync of subsequent markers - just something to be aware of. or possible just me?

This appears to be a simple screen capture / video output tool. Might be something that could be shared with SMEs to help them create content quickly and easily. Of course, as IDs, we still need to help them organize their content!
