NOSSO LAR - a film about the interworld -

 After dying, André Luiz encounters neither the Heaven nor the Hell depicted in the teachings he had received during his Catholic upbringing...but rather a sort of interworld, "a nonmaterial but real replica of the material world".

The idea of the interworld is found in Hinduism (intermediate state between the moment of death and that of reincarnation), Tibetan Buddhism (upon death the soul passes through an intermediate region).

This idea of an intermediate state is also found in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

"And beyond them is a Barzakh until the day when they are raised up." 23: 99-100.
