Recently head injuries and preventive steps to protect our young athletes has become more prevalent in the media. The NFL has largely draw the attention with recently initiated rules such as: implimentation of a Head, Neck, and Medical Committee, strict rules against helmet to helmet contact, baseline neurological testing, sideline neurologic tests, and longer recovery periods. While the debate will rage on about how much protection is to much the government is starting to get involved.

Being in the athletic training field, gives many opportunities for someone to commit unethical acts. Depending on where you work, some schools or athletic programs will allow for some unethical things to happen. It is up to you to decide whether you can live with those decisions if you chose to look the other way.
