With the inheritance tax threshold frozen, families are resorting to more desperate measures to avoid death duty.


According to a paper published last week by the Institute for Fiscal Studies, if the threshold remains the same, more death tax will be paid as a proportion of all tax income by 2018 than at any point since the Seventies.
