Thianna D Visits With Finding Their Bliss -

Thianna D Visits With Finding Their Bliss - | erotica | Scoop.it

inding Their Bliss, first in the multi-author DD erotic romance series Corbin’s Bend.

Brent Carmichael loved Corbin’s Bend. A small community at the base of the Rocky Mountains just for spankofiles, he worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and that the residents were safe and happy. He never intended to fall in love but when Charmagne Kendle stumbled into his life, he found an attraction he had no intention of fighting.

Char moved to Corbin’s Bend after losing her job, her apartment, and her fiancé all in one day. She had no idea she was actually moving to a spanking community but with the freedom to explore her secret fetish, she found herself happily upended over Brent’s lap.

As their relationship deepened into domestic discipline, her ex appeared wanting her back. Now she had to choose. The rich, handsome, and charming Nathan Korven or former police officer Brent Carmichael. To find her bliss, there was really only one choice.

Today I’d like to share a scene from the book where Liam has taken Naia to his Miami home for a weekend together. But Naia doesn’t quite understand that when Liam gives her a rule to follow, he expects her to do just that and exactly that. Last night, he promised to look up the word ‘permission’ with her as she still struggles with the idea. It turned into a fun scene that became quite heated…

Well my goodness! This has been a long time coming :D. It has taken me three years to get to this point where my trilogy is finished and ready to be released into the world. I’m not sure how I feel about that – I’m not nervous or shy or feeling loss that my baby has flown the coop. I’m not worried that it might go out, get drunk and do something stupid – it’s the oddest sensation. I guess because none of it is mine any more. This story now belongs to those who read it. I absolutely have no control over how readers interpret these words. I wonder what or who my lead characters will look like to you. Or how do their voices sound?

It's all in your head: The beauty of written eroticism | erotica | Scoop.it

Nola Sarina, co-author with Emily Faith of Wild Hyacinthe and Andee: The Core, gets into the nitty-gritty of why reading erotica can be an important — and enlightening — experience for many readers.

Nola: A caress. A kiss. A subtle taste.

Each of these things feels different to every woman. I doubt any two experience it the same way.

A strong, alpha male. A gentleman holding open a door. A passionate grip on the wrists before a mind-blowing kiss.

All of these elements of erotic scenes in romance are unique moments to every woman who reads them. The memories and sensations I link to a rough kiss are a completely different experience than the memories another woman links to them. The way I view a strong, alpha male might differ, visually, from the imagery others link to a spicy hot encounter.

Rosanna Leo Visits With Predator's Claim - | erotica | Scoop.it

Thank you so much to the lovely Liv for hosting me today. I’m thrilled to be here to tell you all about my latest paranormal romance, Predator’s Claim, Gemini Island Shifters 4.

Although this is a book 4 in my shifter series, I write all my books to stand alone. By all means, I’m thrilled when a reader picks up the entire series and reads them in order, but with my books, you don’t have to. I believe in happy endings, and even with my series books, each story centres on a different couple.

In this case, we have wolf shifters Bart Cairo and Charlotte Moffatt. Being shifters, they possess some interesting powers, ones that are so much fun for the author to explore and exploit. Chief among these is an increased sexual appetite.

When the players take the field this spring come meet my players…

Blurb:

Will the bad-boy pitcher strike out when it comes to love?
Shy music teacher Sophia Ballis has sworn off men. After a bad experience with a college jock she decided it was better to be alone than to get burned again. She focused on her education and now her new job at a local private school.

Professional baseball pitcher Paxton Hughes is a player both on and off the field. He’s signed to the Kingston Crushers to bring home the coveted championship title. Nothing can get in his way. Serious relationships don’t mix with a life on the road and he never loses focus on the game. One-night stands are his specialty for a reason.

While out jogging one spring morning, the two collide, setting their course in motion. Pax is immediately drawn to the unassuming beauty. Sophia is aware of his reputation and decides one night of meaningless sex with the attractive Texas charmer is just what she needs to get over her self-imposed dry spell. Pax has more than a one-night stand on his mind, but will his bad-boy persona and demanding schedule ruin any chances of a happily ever after?

"Please, Master."

I try to push my hips forward, needing more, wanting your touch.

"Don't even think about it."

You push me back firmly against the bed with a warning look.

I’m delighted to have Jennifer Denys here today with her latest book, Bounty Hunter’s Captive, which sounds such a lot of fun. See if you recognise all the sci-fi references in her post and read on to enter the giveaway to win an ebook copy of the book and a chance to have your idea in a future story :):

‘In space, no-one can hear you scream’ (Alien)

Great! That means you can have raunchy sex without disturbing the neighbours! LOL

I am an unapologetic sci-fi geek and had great fun incorporating classic sci-fi lines, names of people or planets, etc, into my latest story, Bounty Hunters’ Captive. This is set in the far distant future and sci-fi, as we know it, has become part of the language, without them realising the origins a lot of the time, eg, Klaatu Barada Nikto is a standard greeting of goodbye (The Day the World Stood Still). In some instances, there have been language shifts: meats called Dagget and Tharg (Daggit from Battlestar Galactica and Targ from Star Trek).

Dungeon Crawl BDSM Blog Hop -

Dungeon Crawl BDSM Blog Hop - | erotica | Scoop.it

It’s week two of the fabulous Dungeon Crawl BDSM Blog Hop from Romancing the Kink, and this week I have a snippet from The Journal.

Here’s the blurb:

“Come to my study at eight o’clock sharp. Dress for dinner. Wear high heels and put on that dress – you know what I expect of you.”

When the order comes Livia is torn between anticipation and dread.

Does he know? How could he possibly know what she has done? And how can she find the words and the courage to tell him?

As eight o’clock edges ever nearer, Livia waits outside the study door, trembling; uncertain of what she will find when she comes face to face with her Master.

If he knows… If he does, there will be consequences. There is no doubt about that.

What will be the price for her moment of disobedience?

Viewing Life in Living Color : Liv Honeywell talks BDSM, romance, and white chocolate Visiting with us today we have Liv Honeywell, who says she likes to live her life in "Glorious Technicolor." And she writes stories set in the world of BDSM. While some writers have gotten into that field because it seems to be an easy few dollars, for Liv the decision to write in that genre goes much deeper. Liv, thanks for visiting with me today. Can you tell me a bit about what you mean by living life in "Glorious Technicolor"? Thanks very much for having me, Shandra J.  I wrote that a while back when I was thinking about life in general and also about when I began to explore BDSM. I’ve always been creative and I’ve always wanted to write and run my own business rather than do some beige, boring day job, and I remember thinking that even realizing that it was possible, that I didn’t *have* to sit there for the rest of my life in a job I hated was almost like going from watching black & white television to colour. Life was so much more exciting and had so many more possibilities.

At this point in the story, Abby has been a very bad girl and her Dom, Will, is about to deal with it:

I have never known a day drag so slowly. I am finally on my way home from the gallery after a day of teasing texts that have kept me right on the edge.

Every time I managed to concentrate on something other than the belt between my legs and my desperate need to come, another text would arrive “Wouldn’t release feel good right now?”, “How’s your aching little clit?”, and the worst one by far “Don’t forget I’m going to cane that ass later.”

That’s what BDSM stands for, and there’s so much I could talk about, but one thing I often hear, and really wish I didn’t, is people in the lifestyle doubting themselves and wondering if they are doing things the right way, purely because someone else has come along and given them usually unsolicited advice on the ‘Rules of BDSM.’

Well, the only ‘rule’ of BDSM is that you should do what suits you and your partner or partners. There really is no One True Way set of etched in granite commandments, handed down generation by generation from THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO DO BDSM!

Liv Honeywell: Tease and Denial

Liv Honeywell: Tease and Denial | erotica | Scoop.it

I’m Liv Honeywell and I write BDSM erotica. I love writing about the psychological aspects of BDSM, particularly exploring the thoughts of the sub during a scene. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any action though

What I love about it, apart from writing about hot, sexy dominant men of course, is that I get to learn about D/s and M/s relationships, to explore things I haven’t tried and things that I have tried but want to learn more about.

In my book, Coming, Ready or Not, it’s all about tease and denial – the lack of control, the anticipation of where he might touch her next; the tension and frustration of having to hold back, however much Abby wants to come, simply because her Master hasn’t said she can and she doesn’t want to disobey or disappoint him.

I’m here to share a little of my latest release, Exile to Unity, which is Book Three in the Corbin’s Bend series. For readers that aren’t familiar with Corbin’s Bend, it’s a fictitious community, In Colorado, built on a common ethos of spanking. Each novella in the series is by a different author and while each novella is part of a series, they can all be read as stand alone novellas or indeed out of sequence.

Emily Tilton's Bred by the Spartans - | erotica | Scoop.it

Bred by the Spartans is a book I think I was destined to write. In what I call my ‘actual” life, I’m interested in Greek myth in what you might call a professional way. In fact it turned out, as I wrote the book, that indeed I know too much about the subject, from one point of view: I was constantly fighting the urge to say too much about the gods, and use too much Greek, like calling the Graces by their proper name, the Kharites, and talking all about the strange Spartan system of raising children.

In the end I think I managed to strike a balance between an exciting (and hot) story and faithfulness to the kinds of things that might happen in real Greek myth.

Liv: Thanks so much for letting me visit your blog, ER.

Liv: I’m writing a new series at the moment about three Dom brothers. The first one is set in The Seychelles, so as well as doing some serious (ahem!) research on suitably Domly, hot men, I’m spending a lot of time gazing at endless sandy beaches and crystal clear oceans and wishing I was there, especially as the weather over here in the UK can best be described as gray at the moment.

So to brighten up the day, here are some links to the Domly, hot men in question:

10 tips for creating sexual, romantic tension… | Cara Bristol | erotica | Scoop.it

1. Build attraction gradually over time. If your characters are bowled over by each other at the start—where can you go from there? Nowhere. Start small, ramp it up, and end large.

2. Begin with awareness. The hero/heroine may not attracted when they meet, but they notice the other person. They notice that they notice.

3. Involve all the senses, not just sight. Scent, sound, taste (their first kiss) and tactile sensations.

Rosanna Leo's Room: Liv Honeywell giveaway!

Rosanna Leo's Room: Liv Honeywell giveaway! | erotica | Scoop.it

I’m a BDSM erotica author and I’m writing the first book in a new series at the moment and I thought I’d share my inspiration for the stories.

The series is about three brothers (all Dom, naturally :)).

I only had an idea for one book at first and the inspiration for that story came from watching Craig McClachlan, who used to be in the Aussie soap, Neighbours, in a new series called The Doctor Blake Mysteries. In that show, he quite often has a wonderful Domly stare which gave me all sorts of ideas for his character, Ryan Haynes, the eldest brother; although at the time, I didn’t even know he had a brother, never mind two of them.

I started writing notes about his story and about how he meets his sub, and then I suddenly found myself writing about Josh, the middle brother. He is already married to Maddy but things aren’t going very well, and I realized that Josh and Maddy’s story would be book two.

Kings And Queens of Kink #5 – Liv Honeywell | Justine Elyot

Kings And Queens of Kink #5 – Liv Honeywell | Justine Elyot | erotica | Scoop.it

I started writing short BDSM erotica stories in 1998 when I first discovered that all those things I’d fantasized about for years had a name and there were other people interested in them too. I read both erotica and non-fiction to learn what else was out there and what I might like to try, and eventually I had an idea for a story and I couldn’t leave it alone. Writing it meant that I could have a story which included all the things that appealed to me at the time and had none of the things I’d read about that didn’t appeal, and I had to write it. I couldn’t wait to get home from work every night and carry on. And that was it. I was hooked on writing!

But, I had a gap of fourteen years between the first erotica I wrote and getting something published because I didn’t think my stories were what publishers would be looking for.

Why would I think that? Well, I read a ‘how to’ book on writing erotica which I thought would show me what to do and encourage me to send off stories to publishers, but it had the complete opposite effect and made it sound impossible to achieve publication with the kind of erotica I write.

No Pain, No Gain

Well it’s the final day of my Switching Mercedes Blog Tour and I’d like to thank Liv for hosting me on her blog today. I thought I’d end the tour by telling you about a friend who both inspired and encouraged me while I was writing this book.

For those of you who don’t know, as well as including BDSM in my writing, I’m also involved in the lifestyle. I’m a submissive, so when it came to knowing how a Mistress would think, I couldn’t draw on personal experience. Not being dominant at all meant that certain aspects of the story were tricky to write, but luckily I have a good friend who is a Mistress. I’ve know Mistress Jakki for a long while now and have often had the opportunity to watch her interact and scene with her subs. So, when it came to writing aspects of Mercedes character, I asked her for a little advice.
