Like no one is irreplaceable, no one is ever the best or the smartest.

There are loads of better people out there and maybe even more who are better than those best people.

Be smart, acknowledge that. Be smart, work with smart people.

As for startups, one usual recommendation is always to put some gray hair in the pool. Same thinking. Add experience, better skills, etc ... .
