Placeit is a great web app which makes it extremely easy to create professional high-quality photo-shots of your product, service or web app inserted within pre-designed environments.

There are already over 550 ready-made setups/environments in which you can integrate any image you upload or reference by URL.

The images you provide are perfectly integrated into the ready-made shots taking into considerations also perspective and angle of the placement.

Most ready-made environments are based on photographs of smartphones or tablets within different locations.

Finaly composited images can be download for free at a resolution of up to 640x480.

Higher resolutions images are charged according to various monthly plans or by image.

Pricing info:

My comment: Great app. Very useful and simple to use. Placeit photo templates and technology makes it super-easy for anyone to create great product shots in seconds and at a fraction of it would cost to creat them in traditional ways. Five stars.

New statistics for google+!!!

Martin (Marty) Smith's curator insight, September 20, 2013 5:47 AM

Google plus remains the most disruptive social network. I do a lot of SOWT (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses, Threats) analysis. One thing comes up over and over. Many competitors are killing each other on Facebook and or Twitter, but few seize the high ground that is Google plus.

Why Stories: 90% of Orgs Use Content in Marketing [INFOGRAPHIC]

Why Stories: 90% of Orgs Use Content in Marketing [INFOGRAPHIC] | Entrepreneurial Passion | Scoop.it

Did you know that 90% of all organizations use content in their marketing efforts?

Although the phrase "content marketing" is something of a buzzword amongst today's promotional teams, the reality is that this inbound marketing practice is both remarkably widespread and effective. To learn more about what content marketing is, how it can benefit your organization and how to get started using this technique to promote your company, check out the following infographic from Demand Metric "A Guide to Marketing Genius: Content Marketing".

Randy Bauer's insight:

I am sponging on the learning process of content marketing. While I should be hiring somebody to do this for me, I believe that I must understand what impacts the content of my clients, and potential clients.

Infographics are a great outline, and this one provides much content.

Fabulous! & on point!

Steven Mallach's curator insight, May 15, 2013 5:29 AM

This is one of the most powerful infographics that I have seen that makes the case for content. Scroll down to find out more about the power of well written articles.

This is an open secret that quality online and even print publications have known for many years - that classical advertising only works up to a point. Most consumers have reached a mental staturation level when it comes to print advertising.

Articles and well crafted, key message rich (not just SEO) content is capable of engaging the reader and building interest and brand loyalty, as well as promoting a call to action where appropriate.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Perhaps, but combine an interesting infographic or other type of image with captivating copy and you have a powerful instrument of engagement (and the distinct possibility of sharing across the social media landscape).

Nuff said.

Why Storytelling Is The Future of Marketing

Katherine Anne's curator insight, October 7, 2013 5:48 PM

I think this video is very accurate. Today, we are bombarded by information about what we should buy, what we should do, etc. How much of this information do we actually retain? Barley nothing! For something to be retained, it has to be rememberable; what's rememberable? STORIES! The video explains stories are rememberable because they are meaningful. The Internet can so easily simplify information to market products, which ends up having so much information about so many different products all the time. If we take the time to explain a story behind a product when marketing it, I think it will be more profitable. STORIES are the new successful marketing strategy in this world filled with noise and information.

Andrea Gilgenbach's curator insight, October 9, 2013 1:10 PM

Storytelling works because stories are memorable, impactful, and personal. This video also features statistics about why the combination of data and story produces the biggest effect.

Marco Gabrielli's curator insight, November 12, 2013 2:30 PM

Jennifer Aaker illustra in un video l'efficacia della narrazione nella comunicazione di marketing.

"... le storie sono significative, memorabili e incisive, e motivano le persone nel compiere un'azione ..."

a) I lettori memorizzano meglio il messaggio;

b) Ascoltano, si fidano e acquistano;

c) Vivono le emozioni e razionalizzano solo dopo.

La narrazione ritrova il suo originale ruolo di mercato, pilotando le conversazioni di business.
